Our beach pouch is lined with a polyester lining, it is not waterproof (that would require a plastic lining, which is not really our thing). But we assure you - it does the job of keeping your wet and sandy stuff from making the rest of your beach packing a total mess, and it does it great! Just shake out the sand when you get home and leave it to dry up. Plus, it's machine washable, so you can always keep it nice and fresh!
